NO COLOURS DISPLAYED
dry season quenching rain
surprising
washing
drumming
shaping droplets
dangling from leaf tips

carnival mas makers their
feathers
beads
cloths
paints

the players feteing
waiting
paying
gossiping
googling
exercising

is there a poem in here
somewhere
no yellow brick road
no witch to tangle
no red shoes

definitely a waste of words
definitely words
are never wasted
definitely words
are never always written

words are creations little
gnomes
elfs
workers
builders
painters
sculptors

maybe some get to be
poems
the lucky ones
